Dr Medha Bhave was invited to demonstrate her technique of drainless abdomioplasty live at the J J hospital plastic surgery department. The surgery was attented by plastic surgeons in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai as organised by the AAPS, Association of aesthetic plastic surgeons. The surgical workshop was relayed online for the benefit of plastic surgeons across the country online. It was highly appreciated and admired by seniors and juniors.
The results were excellent and the free surgery benefited the patient immensely who is extremely happy about the result after 2 months.
Not only did Dr. Medha Bhave demonstrate drainless technique described by her, including the toilet liposuction which has generated lot of curiosity, but she also showed a suturing technique that does not leave stitches on the skin.
This was to celebrate the national aesthetic surgery day on 28 th of September; started under aegis of Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic surgeons of which Dr. Bhave was secretary from 2018–2021.
It was also a special moment for Dr Medha Bhave to demonstrate surgery at her alma mater where she was trained in plastic surgery during her M. Ch. course.
